Minka Kelly, Derek Jeter Split After 3 Years

Derek Jeter can go back to playing the field.

After three years together, Jeter and Minka Kelly have split, the actress' rep confirms to Us Weekly.

Just Jared first broke the news that the Yankees shortstop, 37, and Friday Night Lights actress, 31, were ending their famously private relationship. In January's GQ magazine, Kelly, who stars ABC's upcoming revamp of Charlie's Angels, opened up ever so slightly about her relationship with the athlete: "I promise you, I'm not getting married in the next month."

While Kelly has been romantically linked to John Mayer in the past, her ex-beau has romanced Mariah Carey, Vanessa Minnillo and Jessica Biel.

I love Jeter but he is a total giggolo. Just kidding. I do respect the fact that he is private about his relationship. Too many celebrities constantly talk about their private lives via Twitter and Facebook then want the public to not talk about them when they split. But these too are differently.

Having seen him in a Tampa Bay area restaurant, I found that he was surprisingly low key and didn't create much of a fuss while there was eating at an italian restaurant chain quietly with his then-girlfriend Jordana Brewster. Seemed like a nice man and they made a very attractive couple. Didn't seem full of himself at all.
