It looks like a kickass breakup album is in Miranda Lambert’s future. The “Gunpowder & Lead” songstress, 31, opened up about her life since divorcing husband Blake Shelton earlier this year while attending her Music City Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 6 in Nashville, Tenn.
“I feel like a bigger part of Nashville than I ever have,” she told the crowd at the event. “I’ve been spending a lot of time here the last three or four months. I moved back here. I’ve never felt more at home.”
The Longview, Texas native got her start in 2003 on the reality competition Nashville Star, and moved back to the country music Mecca after her split from Shelton, 39, this summer.
“I’ve never felt more inspired,” she continued at the event. “I listen to live music or I’ve written music basically every single day for the whole summer and it was my first summer off the road and I’ve never felt more ready to make music and learn from music and learn from songwriters.”
Back in July, Shelton and Lambert finalized their divorce just hours after announcing the end of their four-year marriage. The pair have remained friendly on social media since, but sources recently told Us Weekly that Shelton has started flirting with his Voice costar and fellow divorcee, Gwen Stefani.
“They’re a real thing,” a Shelton source tells Us.
