She may no longer be a scorned, single woman, but that won't stop Miranda Lambert from kicking ass in the country music world. The "Automatic" crooner, 30, covered the new issue of Billboard magazine.
"With success, I've been able to sort of calm that down and go, 'OK, I don't have to be guns a-blazin' all the time. People are listening, so I can open up my softer side and show people who the whole Miranda is,'" she revealed of her more emotional sound.
Some of this transformation is due, in part, to being married to fellow country star Blake Shelton for almost three years. Rumors of their romance have been dragged through the press, but both promise they're still going strong.
"I think I've had like five sets of twins in the last two years, and we've been divorced four times, and one of us had a $100 million divorce," Lambert joked.
Another big topic surrounding the ACM winner is her fluctuating weight. Recently she has shed plenty of pounds, but wants to make her motives clear.
"It just feels like you can't do anything for yourself anymore," she said of the weight loss. "Have you ever thought I might just be turning 30 and trying to get a little ahead of the game? Isn't that just a normal thing to do?"
