Say what?! As One Direction tried to keep things positive at the 2014 BRIT Awards, singer Louis Tomlinson provided potentially the worst advice ever to fellow teen phenom Justin Bieber. BRIT Awards host James Corden asked the group if they had spoken to the "Boyfriend" singer since his Miami arrest for drag racing and a DUI or visited him in jail.

"Did you tell him what guys do to people who look like him in prison?" Corden quipped.

Most of the group remained awkward and tight-lipped when asked about the troubled teen, but Tomlinson finally spoke up, advising the Biebs to, "keep strong and keep doing what you're doing."

There was an awkward pause before Corden exclaimed, "Don't keep doing what you're doing! That's horrible advice!"

Perhaps Tomlinson, 22, meant to encourage Bieber, 19, to continue making music, which the Grammy nominee seems to be doing.

On Feb. 19 he tweeted, "Out here working hard. Tired. Never stop. Love this music and the craft."
