Camelot wedding!

Patrick Kennedy married Amy Petitgout in Hyannis Port, Mass. on Friday. The former Rhode Island Congressman is the son of the late Senator Edward "Ted" Kennedy.

According to the Washington Post, Kennedy and Petitgout, a schoolteacher, were married by Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer.

The groom told the Cape Cod Times before the ceremony: "She's the best I could have ever imagined, and I'm lucky to be able to share this day with her."

The groom's father Ted lost his battle to brain cancer in 2009 . Ted's eight siblings included the late President John F. Kennedy and Eunice Kennedy Shriver.

One of Eunice's five children was Maria Shriver. That makes Patrick Kennedy the first cousin of Arnold Schwarzenegger's estranged wife.

It hasn't been Camelot since 1963. Any spawn in this family is not a part of Camelot. Quit trying to glamorize them. The love affair over the Kennedy's is just too much. People whined and cried over one of the Bush daughters getting some correspondence job on the news yet the Kennedy's sit in congressional seats for almost half a century and get jobs at all levels of govt coasting off the memory of 2 dead uncles and it's all okey dokey. Very strange...and hypocritical to boot.

So much negative from those that live in a glass house. Patrick has been an outstanding individual and Congressman. I still don't know why he quit Congress, maybe he'll be a Senator, who knows.

With one or two exceptions, the Kennedys are a family of drunk lowlifes. If they are "American royalty" then we should all be ashamed.

@Cyndee not all the Kennedys are evil and every family has sckeltons in their closet nor is he the only Patrick in the Kennedy/shriver family JFK's youngest son was named Patrick as is Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwartzeneggers first son it's carried down from grandfather Joseph Patrick who died in 1969
