The America's Next Top Model creator and host graduated with a certificate from the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Friday, Us Weekly can confirm.

Banks, who dropped out of Loyola Marymount University to pursue modeling at age 17, enrolled in the prestigious program to better her brand.

"In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women, and to serve them, I needed the best," the Bankable Productions CEO told CBS News in 2011. "So I went to the best."
Banks, now 38, admitted that her decision to pursue higher education was met with skepticism at first. "When people have low expectations, you're just constantly going, 'Ta-da!' And they're like 'Wow!'" she said. "It doesn't take a lot to wow them."

Prior to her Harvard education, Banks was lauded for being the first African American woman to appear on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The California native has appeared in a handful of films (Life-Size, Coyote Ugly) and hosted her own talk show, The Tyra Banks Show, which ran from 2005-2010.

17The bad part about this is that it is not just the reporters. Tyra posted a pic on her Twitter page that read "smiling ear to ear on the Harvard campus with my Diploma". lol. Congrats on receiving your document for completing the "42nd sesssion of the president managment program". Tyra..Make sure you take thousands of pics with it from far away (so no one can read it), and pretend its a real Harvard Business School diploma.
Stupid reporters. Maybe you should say that you have a degree from Harvard in Journalism because you have a subscription to Harvard Magazine. Tyra basically went to an executive seminar that hands out cute documents with Harvard logo's on them. I don't think you'll see her wearing a Harvard sweater anytime soon, as she is not a member of the Harvard Alumni Association.

In my opinion, what's said above is seriously EVIL and literally out of nowhere, perhaps just to be just that, EVIL. I think I put a smile on your face when I called you EVIL, so you can go to bed tonight knowing that your mission is accomplished. Someone, somewhere thinks you are EVIL. I mysellf would toss and turn for days on that thought, but that's just me, an ivy league educated liberal. I assume you are republican because it's fairly common knowledge no democrat would say that EVER. Or perhaps a tea partier? Folks this is only a certicate for pete sake's. She more than likely did an online weekend course. Plus somebody more than likely did the course work! It anit that deep folks! Trust!

I am not trying to hate.. but come on.. she is getting a certificate.. Not an advanced degree. It is a COURSE!!! Four weeks and it cost $33,000. For a certificate of completion. I have to give it to the Harvard School Business.. That is getting your hustle on.
No offense intended, but there is a big difference between a certificate program and one that one that comes with a degree. I have no doubt she worked for her "certificate" but resent it is protrayed like a degree.

Ok Tyra Banks graduated, so bfd, people graduate everyday and are a lot more good looking than her. No I am not jealous as I am a graduate also of business administration and retired when I was 46. Again Tyra Banks needs to work more on her looks as she has lots of improvement still.
