Dad dancing at its finest! President Barack Obama got his groove on to Drake’s “Hotline Bling” at the BET Love & Happiness: A Musical Experience afterparty on Friday, October 21, in Washington, D.C. In a video clip shared via Instagram by The Shade Room, Obama, 54, pumps his fist and wiggles his hips, proving that not even POTUS is immune to the infectious beat of Drizzy’s 2015 hit.

As the commander in chief, casually dressed in a loose blue button-down and black slacks, busted out his best moves, Usher and Janelle Monae bopped along right in front of him. Watch Obama get jiggy with it in the video above.

Though he is clearly a fan of Drake’s music, Obama doesn’t think the Canadian-born hip-hop star, 30, is the best rapper. During a January 2016 interview with YouTube personality Adande “sWooZie” Thorne, the politician revealed that he prefers Kendrick Lamar over the “Hold On, We’re Going Home” crooner.

“Gotta go with Kendrick,” he admitted at the time. “I think Drake is an outstanding entertainer, but Kendrick — his lyrics, his last album [To Pimp a Butterfly] was outstanding. Best album, I think, of last year.”

Breaking it down to Drake isn’t the first time Obama has put his dancing skills on display. When he and wife Michelle Obama paid a visit to Argentina back in March, the couple — who have been married for 24 years — nailed the country’s national dance, the tango, at an official state dinner for Argentine President Mauricio Macri.

And during his first presidential campaign, Barack made an October 2007 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where he jokingly challenged the talk-show host to an impromptu dance-off to Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love.”
