Could there be another Middleton woman joining the British royal family?
Prince William's younger brother, 29, was approached by Middleton, also 29, when he arrived at Plaza de la Ciudadania in Santiago, Chile. Middleton, a TV presenter for a morning show in the country, is so devoted to the prince that she staked out his car when he arrived at the airport on Thursday evening.
Harry told the woman that he recognized her from the airport, and complimented her on the tiara she wore in honor of her second audience with him.
"I'm a Middleton!" she told the British royal. "My name is Middleton, like Princess Kate. I'll be your next wife, Harry."
Prince Harry, who is "very popular with the girls" in Chile, took the offer in stride, laughing after her proposal. He was at the plaza to recognize former Chilean leader Bernardo O'Higgins, by laying a wreath in his honor.
He later charmed more locals, as he cuddled and played with Chilean youngsters at the Sagrada Familia kindergarten. Harry gushed over an 8-month-old little boy, asking, "Who does this little one one belong to?… Otherwise I'll take him home."
"Prince Harry was so caring with the children - he picked them up, he played with them and they loved it," the school's head-teacher Jimena Perez told Us. "He treated them like they were his own."
The charismatic royal's arrival in Chile comes after a few days spent in Brazil, where he watched World Cup games and mingled with the residents. He departs Chile this Sunday.
