1. He's an Actor, Too!

Dorsey has been working as an actor since 2011, and his credits include short films like Groovin' On and Unspoken. He's also had multiple TV stints including Southland, Parks and Recreation, Mob City, and You're the Worst.

His biggest upcoming project, though, is in the 2015 film Blood Father, opposite Mel Gibson, William H. Macy, and Elisabeth Rohm. Dorsey was given the character of a drug dealer named Shamrock and he couldn't be more excited to work with the star-studded cast.

"Ok it's feeling real official now – Standing in the same room as Mel Gibson," Dorsey tweeted in May. "It's really sinking in now. So stoked for this opportunity!!!" While shooting the film, Dorsey has posted pictures with his fellow actors including Diego Luna and living legend Macy. "Such an honor sitting next to this guy!!" Dorsey tweeted last month, alongside a pic of Macy showing him "how the selfie is done."

2. He's a West Virginia Native and Darn Proud of It!

When Dorsey was 27 years old, he was named Cosmopolitan's West Virginia Bachelor of 2011. The Chesapeake native was nominated by a pal who gushed, "If you are having a bad day, being with Ryan will turn your mood around."

On Dorsey's official website, his biography describes him as "the kid from the coal mining valley of West Virginia [who] had dreams of being a baseball player but high school fate derailed those plans and landed him on the stage, where he fell in love with a new dream."

Dorsey moved to Manhattan and graduated from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts with a focus on film and television technique.

3. He's a Dreamer and a Sensitive Soul

Dorsey has frequently updated his followers on Twitter about living and following his purpose in life. "With helluva a lot of perseverance #2013 was a year where some of my dreams and goals came true. #2014 will be bigger. My only #Resolution," he wrote on New Years Eve.

Looking ahead several years into the future, Dorsey tweeted in January: "I'm at the Golden Globes by 2016. #outlandish #dreams ? I didn't say nominated, but hey, anythings possible right? Ask Dad, he married Mom."

4. He and Naya Have Been Pals for Some Time

As previously reported by Us Weekly, Rivera met Dorsey in L.A. four years ago. "They were friends for a long time," a source told Us. "It turned into love!"

While their exact first encounter has not yet been documented, Dorsey told Cosmo in 2011, "I'd love it if a girl asked me out or made the first hookup move." Years before his quickie wedding, Dorsey confessed to the mag that his biggest relationship fear was either "breaking a girl's heart or having mine broken by her."

5. This Is What Turns Him On

Dorsey told Cosmo that he loves when women wear "leggings or tights," and prefers the "Brazilian" grooming style down below.

What Rivera probably will appreciate most about him in the sack? Straight from the groom's mouth, Dorsey told Cosmo: "I don't snore in bed."
