Sarah Palin Calls Levi Johnston "Desperate" for Doing Playgirl

The feud between former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Levi Johnston, the father of her first grandchild, is back on.

After Johnston, 19, claimed on CBS' Early Show Wednesday that Palin would often refer to her son with Down Syndrome, Trig Palin, as "retarded," the ex-governor fired back.
In a statement issued by her spokesperson, the Palin, 45, said she had tried to ignore the "mean spirited, malicious and untrue attacks on our family" but felt forced to respond.

"We, like many, are appalled at the inflammatory statements being made or implied," she continued. "Trig is our ‘blessed little angel’ who knows it and is lovingly called that every day of his life. Even the thought that anyone would refer to Trig by any disparaging name is sickening and sad."
Palin and Johnston -- who had a child, Tripp, with Palin’s daughter, Bristol, 19 -- have been in a war of words since the teen couple split earlier this year.

His latest allegation against Palin comes two days after he told Usmagazine.com that he planned to appear fully nude for his upcoming Playgirl photo shoot. ("I just get naked," he told Us. "That's what I do.")
Palin, who believes Johnston is only speaking out to get "attention," also attacks the CBS network for broadcasting his lies.
"CBS should be ashamed for continually providing a forum to propagate lies," she said. "Consider the source of the most recent attention-getting lies -- those who would sell their body for money reflect a desperate need for attention and are likely to say and do anything for even more attention."

I HATE that Palin *itch!!!! I wish she would go away and never say one more f-ing word again!!!!!! Levi is a good kid, he isn't letting those a-holes manipulate him and I love it!! Can't wait to see him Playgirl!
This is the woman that was almost elected VP of the United States? The FIRST WOMAN? She is engaging in High School drama back and forth with a very young boy, who has neither the experience, nor the couth to act any differently. She, on the other hand, should not dignify him with a response. As an intellectual woman, she should let her actions speak louder than words and she should stop engaging with Levi or its just going to go back and forth, back and forth. She should distance herself from him and not even publicly reply. I have never been a fan of hers, but as an adult mother, working woman, sole provider in the family, the last thing I would be doing is responding to smut that a disgruntled 19 year old boy puts in a Tabloid as you only seem defensive and show he has gotten your goat. As far as I am concerned, this woman doesn't deserve to be in the position she is, making the millions she has. She should have more gratitude towards Mr. McCain, as should Levi, for thrusting them into the limelight and making them millionaires. Getting back to the subject at hand - Everyone who wrote negative comments about Levi, you can say what you want about Levi, he is not my biggest fan either and he needs to keep quiet - but what makes you think that he is lying. After Palin lost the election she no longer NEEDED the father of her grandchild. LEVI was out, that was obvious when they never married. Brisket had her baby out of wedlock. NO WEDDING! She's no better than Levi. She quit her job as govenor in part to write a book and make $$$$millions. So he's decided to pose nude for playboy to make money too. At least he will have to share part of the proceeds in child support!
First,Levi isn`t even acting his advanced age of 19. It scares me that CBS gave him the amount of time they did to sit and run down a family that took him in and cared for him and treated him like a member of their family. Second,I wonder where Levi`s mother is, still in jail for (if I`m not mistaken) the sale and use of oxycontin? Instead of the Palin`s turning their back on him and trying to hide this they continued to be supportive of him even though this could have hurt Palin`s political career at that time.IMO,he is acting like just what he is,a stupid kid with no pride trying to make quick cash! And by the way I did Not vote for her and her running mate,I just personally know how it feels to take someone in to your home and family and get stabbed in the back. Wow Simple Truth 9:39, what are you 82? I work a simple 9 to 5 office job. I am lucky to have gotten this job because of my education. I am just saying that to say that all people who take their clothes off for attention is ignorant. If I lost my job today and I could not put food on the table, I would take my clothes off to make money in a heartbeat. I didnt even mention drugs. I know sex sells. That is the truth. Now I know Levi isnt having a hard time putting food on the table, but Sarah just generalized a great number of people who do.
