Maybe next year? Scott Disick has been asked to appear on Dancing With the Stars “so many times,” a source tells Us Weekly, but he’s not joining the hit ABC reality show anytime soon.
Producers are casting the next season of the show, and TMZ reported on Tuesday, February 16, that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had been invited to join the upcoming 22nd season, with negotiations stalling because Disick, 32, wants $500,000 to compete.
But the source tells Us there is “no chance Scott would be on the show,” while a DWTS insider tells Us that ABC “would never give him 500,000.”
The father of three, who split with longtime love Kourtney Kardashian last summer, briefly checked into rehab in October and “is in no shape to be talking about those things right now,” the source adds.
If Disick changed his mind, he wouldn’t be the first member of the reality TV clan to appear on the show — Kim Kardashian was partnered with Mark Ballas on season 7 in 2008 but was the third star to be eliminated, while her brother, Rob, fared a little better.
He competed on season 13 of Dancing With the Stars in 2011 with two-time champ Cheryl Burke, finishing as the runner-up behind J.R. Martinez.
