Barnacles indeed. Rodger Bumpass, the man who voices SpongeBob SquarePants’ Squidward, was arrested on Friday, January 15, in Burbank, California. The actor was reportedly driving under the influence.
According to police reports, Bumpass was found by police resting against his blue PT Cruiser in the middle of the street at about 11 p.m. The Los Angeles Times reports that when police approached the actor, he walked away and almost fell.
Bumpass failed a field sobriety test and according to the Times, his breath test showed that his blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit.
The 64-year-old actor was released on $15,000 bail on Saturday, January 16.
