Is it too late now to say sorry … again? Steve Harvey starred in a new T-Mobile commercial that debuted during Super Bowl 50 — and he apologized again for his Miss Universe mishap.

The Family Feud host, 59, kicked off the ad, which is titled “Drop the Balls,” by saying, “Folks, I have to apologize… again.”

“Look, those were last year’s numbers,” he explained, in reference to the narrator’s original numbers. “It says right here on the card. T-Mobile doubled their LTE coverage in the last year. And with more LTE towers than Verizon, T-Mobile reaches pretty much everyone they do.”

He adds, “I’m not taking responsibility on this one. Verizon got it wrong. Yes, not me!”

On December 20, the comedian accidentally crowned Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez as the winner of the Miss Universe competition, instead of the actual winner, Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach. Both women appeared on The Steve Harvey Show shortly after, where the host apologized.

“This has caused a lot of sleepless nights for me,” Harvey explained. “I didn’t do any interviews until I could talk to the two people who were affected the most, Pia and Ariadna. No matter how tough it was for me, I can’t imagine how it was for these two women. This finally gives me a chance to have a moment of closure.”
