The world cannot go on! Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have called it quits on their relationship after 15 months of dating, and the internet is not all right.
After Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday, June 1, that the “Shake It Off” singer, 26, and DJ-producer, 32, ended things, Swift’s fans immediately prayed to the gods above for a new album to come and even pleaded for the day off work to mourn.
“My family just expects me to eat dinner like a normal person who hasn’t just found out that love is dead. What’s wrong with them?” one sad fan tweeted on Wednesday.
“Taylor & calvin actually broke up?” another asked. “I honestly can’t believe this, true love is dead and the world is ending.”
Others are taking the news better. As one wise fan of the superstar, who is known for penning tunes about past loves, noted: “OK LOVE IS DEAD, BUT BRING ON THIS ALBUM.”
For the record, a source tells Us that Swift is doing “OK.”

Taylor Swift and her boyfriend broke up. No one loves anyone. Love is dead. I’m going to sleep.

so @CalvinHarris and @taylorswift13 broke up 🙁
I guess he needs to rename his album “15 months” instead of 18
