The new Us Weekly (on newsstands now) reports that Taylor Swift enjoyed a two-hour dinner with John Mayer Jan. 24 at Nashville Bistro Cabana.
And blogs have been abuzz with rumors of a romance (even though a source tells Us Swift, 20, views Mayer, 32, as a "mentor").

"I try not to be a complainer, you know?" she told UsMagazine.com at the 13th annual Unforgettable Evening benefit Wednesday in L.A.

Next up for Swift: Sunday's Grammys, where she's up for eight awards.
"I get nervous about everything!" she told Us. "I am just so excited to be nominated for eight Grammys. That is sort of still unfathomable for me. I've never won one Grammy, so please wish me luck. I'm performing too, so hopefully that comes together."

Personally, I think that if they did decide to date, then that's their choice. But, as we all know, John Mayer's relationships haven't lasted all that long. And, not to mention, the age difference between those two is a little wide. Yes, Taylor Swift is mature for her age, but, really, John is a just a bit too old for her. In other words, I think she just needs to find someone her age. Just because things didn't work out for her and Joe Jonas, doesn't mean boys around his age are going to be like him.

I enjoy both their music, and I think they are both young talented musicians, but don't really care for them as a couple. As for the people making comments about her chest, what is wrong with you? What is that saying, that you can't get a guy unless you have huge bosoms. That is a ridiculous comment to make. She is a lovely girl with a nice figure. Leave her body alone. And if they are dating that is their business. I personally think he's a little old for her, but I don't know them personally as I'm sure none of you do either so who knows.

It's easy to stand back read the news stands and go home at night to eat your dinner with "E" on and make assumptions... Try this one - go out there, write a song and market it, then put people in place to run that market for you in addition to overseeing the management you hired, now go out and perform... A half generation is too much when you're talking a romantic involvement of a 20YO "girl" (yes, that's the image she projects) and a 32YO man, even with both being hugely successful musicians. I expect that they both know that so give it a rest for now.
