Tiger Woods Sends Thank You Message to Fans

Embattled golfer Tiger Woods -- who has been linked at least nine women who claim to have had affairs -- posted a statement on his website on Sunday, thanking fans and sponsors for attending a tournament that supports his foundation.
"As the final round of the Chevron World Challenge begins, I would like to extend my heartfelt thank you to everyone affiliated with the event, especially our amazing title sponsor, Chevron," writes Woods, 33, who withdrew from the Chevron World Challenge because of unspecified injuries from a Nov. 27 car accident outside his home in Florida.

I am so grateful to them for their efforts, and I am sincerely sorry I was unable to fulfill my duties as host and player in this important event. "There are also 18 outstanding pros in the field, and I thank them for providing us all with some excellent competition this week.

i will pray for tiger and his family that they stay togather no one can judge him but god nobody perfect god forgives it will take time but tiger and his wife can get thur this if people just stop adding all the bull just to keep the news station rating high i pray that Tiger ask god to forgive his sin and get some counciling and make the marriage work.
Sorry.. one more thing. Men and women are just alike! Women wonder their eye, men wonder their eye. Some men cheat, some women cheat. I heard someone say when Tiger did so and so it made it their business. Umm, sorry, but his business is nobody's but his own. I could not imagine the pain and heartache this family is feeling because of people going on and on not letting anything go away. I don't think cheating is right by any means, but no one is 100% sure that everything being said is true.
I just want to say that my husband and I are huge Tiger Woods fans. I wish everyone would just stop running their mouths thinking they know everything. I can tell everyone that I slept with Tiger Woods and 9 out of 10 people will believe me and who knows I could be on Good Morning America in the morning and tell you how romatic he is and the things we did. Yeah...Right.. Half of those girls have probably never met him in their life and are more than likely just wanting a little money from the ordeal. Elin needs to stand by her husband and realize that if those girls have no hardcore evidence such as pictures or little Tigers running around, then they could just be breaking up her marriage over fantasy. As for Tiger, keep your mouth shut. Don't say you did or didn't. Just focus on your family, your career, and everything else will soon fade away.

This is getting out of hand. Who is anyone to judge? None of you can judge for many of you have hurt or deceived someone at least once in your life. At this point it may be good for Tiger to just divorce, for he already is the subject of public scrutiny. Tiger already apologized but with all the constant drama, he can't even show his face to move on with his life. I would rather for Tiger at this point to focus on being a wonderful father to his children, get counseling to help with HIS personal issues, and strive to make it through his career. If he was to divorce, Tiger can allow himself to focus on being a great friend for Elin and focus to help her raise HAPPY children that can at least say they have two parents who are best friends and not angry individuals who are living together. It will allow Tiger to move on from all this crap and date whoever the hell he wants with being under a microscope. I am so tired of hearing lies and people are not naive. Some people can spot a phony relationship from a mile away. We can see hurt, we can see pain in pictures. Please stop the crap and for once keep it REAL! Tiger has a foundation to manage; he has more tournaments to win, and life that need to survive this current setback. He has fallen but Tiger does have enough to start over again. Life for him is not over.
Judge not, my *ss. For a long time we all judged Tiger Woods to be amazing, ambitious, focused -- the King of Golf. We watched him date Barbie Dolls until he settled on one, and we wished him nothing but the best. We felt pride and joy for them when their children came along. Perhaps some of us have been a little envious of his enormous wealth, but mostly we felt he couldn't have been more deserving of it. The press, by and large, gave him the privacy he wanted because he was TIGER. All those judgments IN HIS FAVOR...where was the "don't judge" camp during all that??
Some of you people are so amusing. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." We've all made terrible mistakes, and for some reason you think that celebrities and athletes are supposed to be perfect. Tiger gets paid for endorsing products and playing golf, not for being a saint. Whether it was 1 woman or 100 women he is no better or worse of a person than any of us, so stop judging.
Tiger is a fraud, and a big fake phony, He's been pretending that he is white all these years. He dates no women of color(Asian,Black, Hispanic). Do I detect a little self-hate here? He is a disgrace to his black father and Thai mother. Somewhere along the line he lost his identity.
Do you realize that one argument being made is that Tiger is an excessive cheater but sit down and really think about it... nine women? I feel as though something is wrong with that picture, for either argument. The women that are coming out with "affair stories" sound to me like fame seekers.. how easy is it to concoct a story knowing that you'll be given a "compensation" for your "brilliant imagination?" Whether or not there were nine women, I am not condeming the fact that what Tiger did was wrong, but stop making judgment without reviewing the "authentic" facts.
you know what really gets my attention, how you people are just so quick to judge this man because of his imperfections. 90% of you who are judging him have also done things in your life that you are not so proud of. If his wife decides to stay that is not your problem she has to live with him not you. So instead of just beliveing everything you hear just wish them the best. alot of marriges went through infedelity and have made it. in any event it is not your place to decide for them!!

Is it okay that he had affairs? Noooo, BUT, he also does SO much for other people...helping those less fortunate, etc. Get a freaking life ppl, and take nice big look at yourself in the mirror.

For the sake of the kids I hope Elin help him and support him. There are lots of temptation out there. The women were probably no saint either. He is still the best golfer that ever existed. Try to forgive and try to start a new chapter.
