"Vicki Gunvalson treated herself to what she called a detox retreat" getaway over the Oct. 3 weekend amid growing controversy over her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 53, took to Instagram to document her luxurious — and much needed — spa weekend at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, Calif.

On Saturday, Oct. 3, Gunvalson shared a photo of herself and three friends — including designer Marisa Kenson — on the first night of her retreat.

"The start of our detox retreat at @bacararesortsb with @skyranchfitness and @clubdetox_oc. Yoga, meditation, hiking, massage and healthy eating is what's in store for me this weekend," she captioned the photo that showed her looking happy in a black evening dress.

The next day, the RHOC star showed off a snap of how she's eating healthy while at the retreat. "Great way to start the morning before my hike @bacararesorts, @clubdetox_oc, @marisakenson, #healthyeating, #freshberries, #detox, #juicing," she captioned the image of a bowl of berries and a bottle of juice.

Later that afternoon, Ayers' ex shared a photo of her holding a Club Detox green juice, wearing a Club Detox T-shirt.

"I love detoxing and spending this weekend with people that inspire me and believe in me," she wrote. "Thank you ladies for allowing me a stress free day. #clubdetoxoc #juicing #cleansingyourmindandbody."

Gunvalson has been at the center of drama with her fellow Housewives over her ex-boyfriend Ayers. Meghan King Edmonds has been trying to disprove Ayers' claim that he is suffering from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Ayers recently spoke at length to Us Weekly about claims from Gunvalson's RHOC costars that he has been faking a cancer diagnosis — especially claims from Edmonds.

"Meghan has scoffed that, 'Oh my God, Brooks is threatening to sue me.' I have significant grounds if she doesn't change her ways. This is defamation," he told Us

Ayers said on Oct. 1 that despite the claims that he'd faked his cancer diagnosis after he was spotted partying in Fort Lauderdale, he was not on chemotherapy treatment then.

As for whether he still speaks to Gunvalson, Ayers told Us that he's only had limited contact with her since their August split.

"I've talked to her once in the last couple of weeks," he said. “We've emailed and texted on occasion."
