Taylor Swift's switcheroos!

The singer-songwriter, 22, was among the winners and performers at the 40th Annual American Music Awards at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles Sunday Nov. 18. And, as usual, Swift made sure she stood out at the awards fest -- where she took home a prize for Favorite Female Artist.

The superstar's approach: Three different looks in one night!

On the red carpet, the singer showed off her slim frames and famous legs in a gold Zuhair Murad mini dress. When she hit the stage to perform "I Knew You Were Trouble," the chart-topper (newly single since splitting with Conor Kennedy in October) began crooning the pop country ballad in a demure white gown with silver detailing.

After showing off some lyrical dance moves with a crew of dancers, Swift then whipped off the white gown to reveal a sexier, gothic-inspired red, gold and black gown with tight bodice. Accordingly the ong itself morphed into a dub-step anthem with Swift and her entourage rocking edgier dance moves.

No word yet on exactly which Swift ex "Trouble" is about. One night before, the unlucky-in-love star offered a shoulder to cry on for lovelorn pal Selena Gomez. Swift and her longtime pal, 20, were spotted catching up over dinner in L.A. on Nov. 17 -- where they presumably rehashed Gomez's romantic drama with Justin Bieber.
