Beauty Trend Watch: Retro Fabulous!

Blame my mild obsession with Mad Men at the moment -- but I'm declaring this adorable classic Hollywood look that Lauren Conrad rocked on the red carpet as the new big-night-out 'do.

The best part: It’s super-easy to create yourself.

The stylist who created the look, Charles Baker Strahan, gave Usmagazine.com his quick how-tos:

First, run a wave-making gel, like Mark Curl Goddess and Wave Defining Gel With Conditioning Sunflower through hair, then curl three-inch sections with a 3/4-inch curling iron. Then loop pieces up into a low bun, leaving volume at the bottom to get a "bob" shape, and pin. Finish by setting with a hairspray. Strahan used Herbal Essences Set Me Up Finishing Spray to keep the look fresh all night.
