Caitlyn Jenner loves to dress up in glam ensembles from Patricia Field and Diane von Furstenberg, but on the weekends in her downtime, Jenner is just fine rocking a sweater and jeans. In new photos taken on Friday, July 3, the Olympian (formerly known as Bruce) wore denim with a black V-neck sweater while taking her beloved Porsche GT3 for a spin around Malibu, Calif.
Jenner, 65, wore her hair down and accessorized her daytime ensemble with a pink glossy lip and gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses. She puffed on a cigarette as she tooled around in the pricey Porsche gifted to her by ex Kris Jenner.
Set to document her transition from male to female in E!’s upcoming docuseries, I Am Cait, Jenner opened up on July 6 about how her life has changed since gracing the cover of Vanity Fair and instructing the world to “call me Caitlyn.”
“Up until now, I have totally isolated myself from the transgender community so I have a lot of catching up to do,” Jenner wrote in her first “The Real Me” editorial for WhoSay. “. . . I’ve already learned so much about this community, the issues, and the people involved. It’s been an eye-opening experience for me — mainly realizing how fortunate I am.”
To ease her transition, Jenner has developed a close-knit crew of other transgender women, who have shared their stories and words of wisdom with the Kardashian-Jenner elder. “Seeing how my new friends have overcome their adversities is such an inspiration,” Jenner said. “They are so well-adjusted and smart. . . . They are just like you and me.”
