Gwyneth Paltrow Is the New Face of Coach
Is there nothing Gwyneth Paltrow can't do?
Adding to her extensive resume outside of acting -- a cookbook, the healthy lifestyle site GOOP.com, even a potential record deal, the Oscar winner is now the face of Coach Inc. for their international 70th anniversary campaign. The 38-year-old actress will be the brand ambassador for this fall and next spring, Women's Wear Daily reports.
Though shot by photographer Peter Lindbergh on a Manhattan rooftop, the ad campaign will only hit select markets in Asia and Europe.
On why the brand went with Paltrow, Coach’s president and executive creative director Reed Krakoff explained she was "a natural choice...She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand."
But for the Country Strong star, being the face of the luxury goods brand is more than just posing with lush leather satchels. “I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand,” Paltrow said. “I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.”
