Attending off-Broadway show Stomp with her son Liam in NYC on Monday, Calista Flockhart brightened up the Big Apple -- with a dazzling new rock!

Flockhart wed longtime love Harrison Ford June 15 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. And while the Governor's Mansion affair was low key, her new wedding ring is anything but.

PHOTOS: Hollywood's biggest, most lavish weddings

Jewelry and style expert Michael O'Connor tells UsMagazine.com: "The ring appears to have a 4-5 carat emerald cut diamond embedded in a collar of pave set diamonds, on a high-polished band, most likely in platinum."

The estimated price tag? $125,000.

"This style mixes classic (with a high polished platinum band), and modern (with the pavé diamonds)," O'Connor adds.

PHOTOS: Can you believe these couple's age differences?

Flockhart, 45, and Ford, 67, dated for more than eight years before their intimate nuptials in Santa Fe, where Ford is filming Cowboys and Aliens. The couple are both parents to Liam, 9, whom Flockhart adopted as a single mom in 2001. "Harrison is so in love with Liam," a source tells Us. "They're such a sweet family."

Omg you could say I'm totally jealous right now. I'm not usually a flashy person, but I want a huge rock! I'm loving Calista's, and I guess when you've been dating someone for almost a decade, a monster wedding ring you deserve.

@CLAIR, At the end of the day that 'object' is a token of his love for her.

As far as I'm concerned, taking into consideration that Harrison Ford has millions, $125,000.00 is nothing to pay for an engagement ring. My engagement ring is valued at $47,000.00. (just got the GIA Certificate and appraisal) If my husband can afford almost 50Gs, for an engagement ring and another several thousand on my wedding band, the amount of money my honey has against Harrison's money, the cost of Calista's ring was a drop in the bucket. As far as "BO BO WITCH", why should anyone have to pay for another person's mortgage? If they can't afford it, they bit off more than they can chew in the first place. Live within your means. And those of you who say "who cares about material things", only say that because you can't afford it. If you had the money, your tune would change in a heart beat. I'm not saying you would flaunt it into the faces of the less fortunate but you surely would appreciate the fact that you have some of the nicer things in life and wouldn't hide that fact. I do and I'm not ashamed to admit it. My husband earned every penney through blood, sweat and tears. If men can afford these things for the loves of their lives, why not allow them the luxury and pride to give it and why not allow these lucky women to show it off? I wish them well. May/December weddings can last a lifetime.

I don't think any ring is worth $125,000. Who cares about material things. I'd be happy with a $100 ring! I'd rather use that money for a down payment on a nice townhome or house. Yeah they have money but I just don't think it's worth it to buy such expensive jewelry. At the end of the day it's only an object. I mean, who cares. I agree with SR. The entertainment news media fools us. They make it sounds like we want to hear this info. Says who? Did they poll us? I'm so sick of gossip mags! They turn any soundbite or trivial info into "breaking" news. ENOUGH ALREADY! And to the ppl who are criticizing her age. You know, you're going to be that age someday so be quiet. Nobody stays 25 forever.

to What. Most diamonds are NOT blood diamonds. Most reputable jewlers are very careful about where they get their stones and would never purchase blood stones knowingly.

Who cares what it cost? The old skinny hag should help others pay their mortgage. She looks like she just ripped a good fart.

ummmm...most diamonds I would suspect are 'blood' diamonds. They are the most common stone in the WORLD, and yet we pay ridiculous amounts of money for them. However, I certainly wish them happiness.

This story is awful.....who cares how much it costs. It bothers me that we feel like we have the right to know things about "stars" that the rest of us would keep private. We should just be happy that they are happy...Crazy
