Jessica Simpson on Emmys: Curvy Christina Hendricks Was Best Dressed

Jessica Simpson's thinks curvy Christina Hendricks was the best dressed at the Emmys Sunday.
"Christina Hendricks is my pick for the Emmys' best-dressed lady..." she Twittered Monday. "Kyra Sedgwick comes in as runner-up!"

Of her lilac Zac Posen gown, the Mad Men star told UsMagazine.com: "It reminded me of Ginger Rogers and Old Hollywood. I just fell in love with it."
Like Simpson, 30, Hendricks, 35, has come under fire for her curves.

In February, a New York Times columnist slammed the Christian Siriano frock she wore to the Golden Globes: "You don't put a big girl in a big dress."
"I was like, 'Oh my God, people are so mean!'" Hendricks recently told Health magazine. "I still remember all those negative comments, despite all the wonderful positivity. That's why we're all in therapy!"
She said she is pleasantly surprised when she finds other celebs admiring her bod.
Said the actress, "It's such a compliment, because of all those times I had agents who were like, "You have to lose some weight," and all of a sudden, people are celebrating it."

I think Christina Hendricks is lovely.
She has an amazing figure, but not the best dress. The feathers are horrible. But I am very happy that there are a few actresses that are proud of their curves!

The boobs are real and she looks amazing. Most men would take her body over the usual sack of bones with fake boobs nailed to a picket fence we usually see in these mags.
Not to discount Christina, I think she looks fabulous ALL the time; but I do get sick of the "real woman" comments...real women are varied and some are stick thin and some are curvy! Not to mention, do you realize most women actually DO NOT look like Christina? She may be bigger, but her hourglass, hypermammiferous body is just as unattainable naturally as is the heroin-chic image of Kate Moss.
Ok, so I'm not a fan of the dress. . . but HELLO!!! Christina's got tons of Va-Va-Voom! She's a curvy, voluptous woman and I LOVE that she's showing Hollywood what real women look like! I mean, come on! How many of us normal girls are the stick figures they make us watch in all of the movies and try to make us think we need to look like? And then the guys? They can be short, tall, fat, bald, whatever. . . but never the women. Kinda messed up, don'tcha think?
Hello People. She is a woman, thats how most real women look like. Is she supposed to starve herself to death because shes an actress?! I dont thinks so. Its about time that people stop forcing everyone to look the same. She isnt fat at all and neither is Jessica Simpson. I dont think shes showing much cleavage, Ive seen other stars show just about their entire breasts because they might be a little smaller which I think is much tackier.
She is beautiful, but, I hated that dress. I think her breast are just too big to be hanging out that much. Just not classy. Leave that to the women who have tiny breasts.
