You've got a friend in me! Jewel reunited with her estranged husband Ty Murray for Halloween on Friday, Oct. 31. The exes pushed their split aside to go as Toy Story's Woody and Jessie with their son Kase.
"#HappyHalloween from our family to yours! @TyPBR & Kase make a pretty good Woody! (& I'm Jessie of course)," the country singer, 40, gushed via Twitter.
Jewel wore a red cowgirl hat, matching red bandana around her neck, and rounded out the look with darker locks. The rodeo star, 44, looked like a proud dad while wear matching outfits with Kase, 3.
The "Foolish Games" singer announced she and Murray were splitting after nearly six years of marriage (16 years together) in July. "Ty and I have always tried to live the most authentic life possible, and we wanted our separation as husband and wife to be nothing less loving than the way we came together," she wrote on her official blog.
She added: "We trust we can remain dear friends who hold each other in high esteem, which is so important to us as parents-as we wish only what is best for our son."
Indeed, the parents — who eloped to the Bahamas in August 2008 — also looked cordial while celebrating the Fourth of July with their baby boy two days after confirming their breakup. "Happy fourth everyone!" Jewel captioned an Instagram pic of the trio at the time. "Kase & I enjoyed the parade here in CO. Send pics of your weekend!"
When not spending time with her family, Jewel is a supporter of American Lung Association's Lung Force. She released the song "Sing On" in June to raise awareness for the campaign.
