Justin Bieber may have parted ways with his boyish bangs, but that's not to say the teen heartthrob is finished switching up his looks. Upon winning the golden popcorn for Best Jaw-Dropping Moment at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards in L.A., the 17-year-old debuted a set of pierced ears.
The Toronto native, who sported a black stud in each ear, made a surprise appearance to accept an award for his 3-D documentary, Never Say Never. The pop star's big-screen debut ousted fellow nominated omg-worthy scenes from 127 Hours, Black Swan, Inception, and Jackass 3D.
His girlfriend, Selena Gomez, walked the red carpet alone, but by the looks of Bieber's tailored ensemble, including a bright blue blazer and white pants, the "last-minute" entrance had to of had some sort of planning behind it.
Enter Vanessa Prince, Bieber's hairstylist, who weighed in to Us Weekly on his iconic locks, saying that "Justin doesn't always like to wear his hair messy." Instead, she created a cleaned-up-but-playful look for the evening, using a small amount of KeSARI Indian Oil Hair Serum before blow drying his hair to ensure that there was no frizz.
