Kate: "I Care So Much Less About My Hair Than Everyone" Else

Hair's the real deal from Kate Gosselin: she doesn't give that much thought to what's on top of her head.
"The honest truth is I care so much less about my hair than everyone in America, obviously," she tells E! News of her ever-morphing coif. "Rarely will I have an opinion or an idea. People care so much."
Having survived another week on Dancing with the Stars, she says that the show has been way more than she ever expected.

"I thought I was signing up for how to dance," the 35-year-old explains. "I ended up signing up for a mental and physical battle. It does change your life."
Of her dance partner Tony Dovolani, she admits "I feel bad some days for what I hand him," but claims that their friction is manageable. "There's drama between every couple. There is no drama beyond the usual."

Speaking of couples, the working single mother of eight says finding a new romantic partner isn't high on her to-do list.
"If ever I have time and if ever my knight in shining armor presents himself, possibly, but I don't really have time in my schedule now...It's not on my calendar: Find man, go on date."

Her calendar does include career planning, however. Gosselin has signed on for two TLC shows, and guest-hosted Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday.
"I would love to do co-hosting somewhere to some degree."

MIGrandma, to khate and her fans, jon's love for his children doesn't matter. she and tlc have stabbed that man in the back so many times & that was their plan all along. khate is no victim. jon has made some mistakes but khate & her fans want to continue to punish him by keeping him from his kids as much as possible. any sane person would know that kids with a parent is better than being with nannies but then again khate's fans aren't quit sane you know. they take pleasure in the public humiliation of jon. and for what? a piece of white trash like khate? One of the words I have to type in to post this is 'slug'. a perfect description of khate gosselin.
Just had to comment again. It says so much about the American TV viewing public that reality TV "performers" become "famous" and think they are "stars." If Kate really cared about her kids, she wouldn't be fighting Jon for custody. She would let him stay with the kids while she is out promoting her book, DWTS, etc. Although he hasn't made the best choices after breaking away from the shrew he was married to (who did probably cheat on him), he does appear to really love his kids. Wouldn't it be better for the kids to be with than with nannies while "poor Kate" is out slaving away to feed those poor deprived children. Sure, in her heart she is in the kitchen baking and cooking away - yeah, right. I'm sure she either has a live-in cook or chef or one of the nannies has to do it. I would not watch any show or waste my money reading any book about this woman. I remember on one of the episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8 that I did watch before she became the fame-mongering *$%! she is now, that she despised the fans and resented their intrusion on her life. It was only after she realized that they were putting the money in her pocket that she decided to put on an act and try to be at least civil to them. She sits at her book signings and chomps on her gum like the white trash person she is through and through. Remember, Kate, money doesn't buy class - there is no hope for you to ever be classy, talented, or a real star. If I were a hard working, dues paying TV or movie actor, I would sure resent all these no-talents hanging around thinking they are talented because they can reproduce more children than they can afford, etc. Why don't we all protest by refusing to buy the books these people (particularly Kate) write or watching the shows that they are on.
I can't wait to see Kate Gosselin use up her 15 minutes of "fame." She is a no talent, money-hog. When she co-hosted ET, (just as the View) she sat like a lump and stared at the "real" host and only contributed when she wanted to push her book or laud herself about what a great mom she is. Even though she needs to work, she doesn't need to live in a $1 million home or wear designer clothes. She looks at her children as cash in the bank. Rarely does she look at them with love - it's usually a look of boredom or disgust that they receive from her. Let her go back where she came from. I can't believe there are so many people out there who buy into her "poor old me, I'm such a fabulous, hard working, self-sacrificing mother." No good mother spends 22 hours in a chair getting hair extensions when they could be with their children. That pretty much says it all about Kate. There are only two reasons she is still on DWTS - either it is a fixed show and the producers want her on, or she is on for the laugh value she provides as people watch her clomp around the floor like a cow (although cows probably have more grace).
Kate is trying to improve her image now by admitting she has a sharp tongue and she speaks without thinking!! Duh!! Any poll I've seen, there are many more anti-Kate than pro-Kate. I think the votes for DWTS are all rigged to keep her on the show. People love to watch her make a fool of herself. I'll tell you lovers what! If Kate's new show Twisted Kate (haha) is successful, I will give Kate a compliment. It still doesn't explain why she is never home. She has lots of money; her sheeples don't think so but Jon and Kate have been lying to us for years. You don't go beg for money at churches and then go home to a 1.1 million dollar home. What fools...Jon and Kate for thinking most of us believed in them (NOT) and the fools that actually gave their hard earned money to them. Scam!
Sher .... I would love to never see Kate's picture or her pathetic remarks but you can't pick up a magazine or newspaper that she isn't on the cover. You can't turn on TV but there is that crying face lying about how she misses her kids. What is she going to do but cry and make a scene because she knows that she is doing exactly what everyone is complaining about. She has ruined DWTS this season. You would think that she was the best dancer in the world the way they build her up! She has been mean to Jon and all of her family and now it is coming back around and she is paying for it! Before I get hate mail I will say that Jon is very disappointing in the way he has acted. But this man has been beaten down for all of the years they have been married. He needed to step up to the plate and tell her how it was suppose to be!
Toni Fitzgerald doesn't believe people should dismiss the possibility of Gosselin finding ratings success again with her planned new reality show "Twist of Kate." The series will follow the single mother as she travels around the country visiting with people and families facing challenges. "It's important to note that while there are a lot of people who dislike her, there are probably just as many who support her and feel a real connection with her," Fitzgerald said. Michael K. said he believes those supporters are keeping the reality star in the limelight. "She probably has even more fans than she does detractors," he said. "If you have seen her on 'Dancing with the Stars' you know that she is horrible and yet she is back week after week."
Look at that! Sher thinks she can tell people, invisible people to her, what they can and cannot do! Imagine that. Well Sher, since there is NOTHING good about Kate Gosselin, I will continue to type what I like. And you just let me know when you can actually "control" someone on a blog.
Kate cries(again)about not being there with the kids and actually said " i wish i was the babysitter so i could be with my kids"! The nerve! Keep making excuses not to be home, she does not miss her kids that much. If she stayed home she would miss the papparazti more. She has huge mental issues, simple soulation Kate, GO HOME!!!!!!!

It's called ratings...she should have been voted off weeks ago. Now that she is still there, she now admits she can't dance. It's for ratings and media sales. It's surely NOT for her dancing or keen personality; she's a witch!
Interesting ending to an article from the Toronto Sun: The country in which â??any man can become presidentâ?? has encouraged an environment in which any idiot can be in the spotlight long enough to show off his or her lack of breeding, lack of education, lack of discretion and general lack of taste or discernment. Somewhere in America right now, a child is thinking, â??I could have three sets of quadruplets, and then Iâ??ll get my own TV show.â?? In a land where the president had to fight to get health care for the general populace, Jon and Kate are heroes. Go figure.
This is for those of you who either do not like or out and out hate Kate. Don't watch her, don't read about her. Just ignore her, and those of us who do like her can enjoy seeing and hearing about her without your obnoxious and rude comments to mar the experience.
To Peggy Smith: Obviously, there are a lot of people out there who don't feel like you do, or else she would have been off DWTS the first week. I don't think it's right for you to call people "losers" just because they don't hate her as you do. You have a lot of hatred and nastiness in your comment. You have the right to feel any way you want to feel, but you don't have the right to judge others and call them "losers" because they feel differently. Just because I don' hate Kate does not mean that I am a loser in any way, shape or form. How about you stick your head down the toilet and flush? Might go some good to clear your head.

Don't Judge - she has absolutely NO problems as a "single mother". She has teams of nannies, housekeepers, bodyguards, nail technicians, beauticians, plastic surgeons and countless others doing EVERYTHING for her. I wish I had her problems as a single mother.
Lynette, it sounds like the problem is yours, not Kates. She is a reality star, not an actress, not a broadcaster, and she is doing nothing to antagonize you. If you don't like her, dont watch the show.
