Kylie Jenner attended the 2015 VMAs on Sunday, Aug. 30, in L.A., wearing a tight, short, and heavily embellished Balmain minidress. Look familiar? That’s probably because you’ve seen very similar styles on her older half-sister Kim Kardashian countless times before.
The pregnant reality star, 34, has been donning the French fashion house’s sumptuous designs for years now—including at the 2015 VMAs. She rocked the label’s white mini with molten accents in Cannes in 2011, a baby-blue, rose-topped number at her bachelorette bash in 2014, and a caped creation to last year’s Video Music Awards. (Kardashian’s also rocked plenty of long takes on the look.)
On the 2015 red carpet, the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner family offered her own take on her sis’ style. The brunette beauty worked the braided creation with ballerina Balmain lace-up heels, a Rauwolf clutch, and Shay jewelry. Plus, she topped it all off with a fringed wig—very Cleopatra-like, which we all know Kardashian would adore!
That said, it was Jenner (in a deleted scene from Keeping Up With the Kardashians) who noted that Kardashian was stealing clothes out of her closet, something the mom to North West confessed to via Instagram! “She’s cramping my style,” Jenner hilariously dished to Khloe Kardashian at the time.
