Almost nude! Lady Gaga shared a revealing pic via Instagram on Monday, Sept. 7.
In the radiant snapshot, the "Edge of Glory" singer, 29, surveyed a sunny, tranquil backyard pool in nothing but pink, high-waisted thong bikini bottoms. She captioned the topless, nearly naked pic, "In my gypsy palace I heal my soul," and ended the post with a red heart emoji.
The pop superstar and budding actress appeared to have a restful Labor Day, as she posted a picture of her French bulldog, and a jokey image about "hanging with regular people" on the social media site earlier that same day.
The day of rest comes in the midst of a busy summer schedule. Gaga has recently been filming American Horror Story: Hotel, in which she plays a several-hundred-year-old "bloodsucker" named Elizabeth who runs the hotel and is the "mother of 10 identical vampires who are 8 years old," an insider of the show said.
But the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, said not to expect Gaga's portrayal to be a Twilight-esque fantasy figure. "I prefer the term 'ancient blood virus,'" he told EW. "There's no capes and fangs."
Despite her thrilling character in the series, the recent role she’s most excited about is that of fiancee. Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney proposed to Lady Gaga on Valentine’s Day with a 15-carat, heart-shaped diamond ring. And while there are no new updates in regards to the couple’s wedding plans, the singer recently sported some wedding night lingerie in a photo shoot with CR Fashion Book and gave some insight into the couple’s relationship, saying, "Even with my fiancé… he understands me better if I create a song and play it for him. I wrote a song for him the other day and it really sat with him because it was something I couldn’t say with words, only through song."
