Newlywed Hilary Duff Debuts Dark New 'Do

Less than a week after saying "I Do" in a lavish California ceremony, actress Hilary Duff debuted a brand new hairdo in Beverly Hills Thursday.

After she spent several hours in the stylist's chair, the 22-year-old former Gossip Girl star -- who recently returned home from her Mexican honeymoon with hockey player Mike Comrie -- sported strawberry blonde locks as she exited the Byron and Tracey Salon.

Earlier this year, Duff -- who was accompanied by her big sister Haylie during the makeover -- gushed to UsMagazine.com that her 29-year-old husband is everything she's ever wanted in a partner.
"He's a great guy. I've never met anyone who could say a bad word about him," she said. "He's generous, caring, funny. We just laugh our heads off, which I need in my life."

40She's a beautiful girl, she just looks a little washed out with the new color. It doesn't inhance her beauty its not her best color choice. I still think she's cool though :)
Hilary always looks great! She's classy, elegant, sweet,talented and beautiful!!! Now that she's married and her life is even more amazing her new book "Elixir" drops in october (october 12th i believe) and she said in interviews once she is settled down she'll begin work on her album which will drop in the next yr or more..which i can't wait for!!! we love u hilary!!! congrats!!!! #1 fan, --G

she looks good with any hair color ..she has gone dark before and it looked fab but with that makeup it just looks drab! definatly change up the make up and it could be a smash hit!
I do like her hair and i think shez beautiful but I gota say she looks a bit older with the darker hair/lipstic I still think she looked better blonde and with pink lip shades.I just think she looks good with lighter shades and colors to match her because shes so naturaly pretty u know but shes still gorgeous no matter what color hair and make-up.I didnt kno she was going to get married yay for her thats awesome! :-)

If you hadn't said that was Hilary Duff sporting a new do, I would not have recognized her. In the side by side photos, they don't even look like the same person.

What a mistake. It doesn't even look like her anymore. a change of hair and lip color should not have made her unreconizable. She's done something else to herself. How disappointing!

It's probably her natural color. The lipstick is too dark, but the hair is very pretty.

Hilary left for Cabo on Wednesday, and she was back in LA on Thursday getting her hair done?!?!! uhhh NO! you even said it yourself under the HOT PICS - "Newlywed Hilary Duff was all smiles as she arrived in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Wednesday for her honeymoon" ...and she was already dark in that picture on WEDNESDAY!!
Really love that hair color on her. It gives her skin more of a glow!!
