Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo Buy Huge $2.85 Million Mansion

Just-married Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have snapped up their house of love!
Realtor.com confirms that the couple, who got married July 15, have purchased a six-bedroom home in Encino, Calif. for $2.85 million. Located in the heart of San Fernando Valley, the Spanish-style estate -- with "stylishly rustic" accents -- features 8,000 square feet, a whopping eight bathroom and 18 total rooms.

Other enviable details: Vaulted beam ceilings, fireplaces, plenty of balconies and patios and a pool.
With that much space, it's no wonder the Sing-Off host, 37, and Wipeout hostess, 30, are eager to start a family.

Lachey told E! News in early August he was "doing everything I can" to get his wife pregnant.
"Trust me, it would make me very happy," he said. "Family is very important. It's very important to us, and I'm sure that will be around the corner."
Minnillo sounds just as eager. Her Twitter bio now reads "wifey by night" and "wannabe mommy all the time."

Women tick me off when they get all preachy about Nick and his divorce settlement. Jessica Simpson DID NOT want to sign a prenup when her & Nick got married. Therefore, what was earned during their marriage got split in half upon the divorce. You can't have it both ways leachers. Either you want things equally & equitably split if divorce occurs or you don't. But you shouldn't call Nick names because he got what he was entitled to! I swear, the double standard by alot of women is ridiculous.
I'll tell you where they got it, Diane. Nick got it from the divorce settlement. These nobodies do nothing but take vacations all year round and do what they can to get media attention to hold on to their 15 minutes. Quit reporting on these two airheads; they aren't worth the page they're printed on.
um 2.85 milion isn't big money for that area. that infact is less than what it would coast to rent a penthouse on 5th avenue in NYC and Nick gets royalties frin gis 98 degrees days

Yeah, I'm pretty finished with all the gossip rags - People, US, all the rest. It was one thing when it was a fun little timekiller, but now every other article is about insulting the reader by throwing this vast wealth in the faces of people who are losing their homes and struggling to put food on the table. Not worth being annoyed anymore, and I don't know why these publications think this is the way to win people over. They should probably read all the backlash comments once in a while.
