Nicki Minaj's career may have peaked more than a decade after Ricky Martin became famous for shaking his bon-bon, but now the two musicians have something in common -- a beauty contract!

Minaj, 26, and Martin, 39, have been tapped as the new faces for makeup mogul MAC's Viva Glam campaign, the brand announced in a release on Monday. The dynamic duo are currently shooting the ads in Miami with renowned fashion photographer David LaChappelle.

Their new spokesperson roles will go into effect in February 2012 when they will replace Lady Gaga, who's held the post since spring 2010. This will mark Minaj's second collaboration with MAC -- the two released a limited-edition cotton candy-pink lipstick on November 26, 2010, to coincide with her "Pink Friday" album drop.

Viva Glam was established in 1994 to raise funds to support men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS around the world. Through the sale of limited-edition lipsticks and lip glosses, MAC has raised $224 million for their MAC AIDS Fund to date.
