Nina Garcia: Jon Gosselin Put "Ed Hardy on the Map!"

Nina Garcia might judge up-and-coming designers on Project Runway, but she didn't shy away from giving her fashion two-cents on Jon and Kate Gosselin.

"Well, all I can say is Jon sure put that Ed Hardy on the map!" Garcia, 44, told Usmagazine.com at the Carolina Herrera fashion show in NYC Monday of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star's wild wardrobe. "Those T-shirts!"
As for Jon's estranged wife Kate?
"Her style ... she's just a mom," Garcia says. "It's as practical as possible. Her haircut? She's just nailing being a mom! I don't even know!"
One person who does get high marks from the Marie Claire fashion director is Project Runway host Heidi Klum.
"She's going to the Emmys, and she'll look fabulous, even if she's eight months pregnant," she tells Us.

It is so OBVIOUS that this Dog story*****Blaming Kate for their return to the breeders***was Jon's NEW ATTORNEYS idea. Expecting this LAME STORY to bring Jon some Sympathy and good press. "I came home for filming and I didn't have babysitting for one day so I called my babysitter Steph and she came over and watched for filming. She's always available -- like some of her babysitting is always for me." She likes to keep her hand in my pocket and that's alright with me. We love to do the hottub. She gives me all the babbysitting lesson and I learn quite a lot. I hate to have to go back to NY with that dog. She makes me puke a lot. I can't get rid of her and I want to bring Steph to NY.
Both Jon & Kate need parenting classes. The only ones suffering through all of this are those poor kids. Who's looking out for these kids while both of them are off screwing whoever & slamming each other on and off tv? The "reality" show needs to be taken off the air, and these two held accountable for the mental and emotional damage they have caused these innocednt, impressionable children. Shame on the two of you and shame on TLC for continuing this travesty!
AWWW POOR Jon doesn't want to get a place((large place))) so he could keep his dogs. NOOOOOOOOOO WAY....He doesn't have time to take care of dogs....He needs his time to SCREW everything but the lightbulbs......And He doesn't have the MONEY to get a large place....Because he already has his Manhattan Apt, and He needs his extra CASH,,,, To rent cars, buy jewelry for the latest Ho, and He needs his Money to keep up with his WONDERFUL PIMP IMAGE. So what! What Jon does is nothing new. About 90% of the newly divorced guys I have seen do the same thing. They bang everything in site til it starts to get old, and it usually does. Big deal. I guess all these girls are brain dead as well. They don't seem to be forced. Their kids seemed to survive "mom" bangin the bodyguard alright. Those poor kids are already messed up living with such an abusive mom. Good job Kate, teach your kids early how to abuse and belittle your spouse. You are a loser!
I bought an Ed Hardy belt that I'm debating returning because everytime I think about wearing it, I think about Jon Gosselin.
Why are people getting on Nina Garcia's case? She didn't say anything bad about Kate, just that her style looked practical. What's wrong with that?
Please tell me she was being sarcastic?! I would never buy Ed Hardy now with Jon as their pitchman. It's trash at this point. You can't tell me it's helped sales to have tubby walking around in their shirts all the time.

I think Nina was tongue-in-cheek concerning Jon, but why did she have to be negative about Kate?
Nina, with all due respect there is nothing wrong with dressing conservative or "like a mom." Kate has 8 kids to keep up with and the people that relate to her like the way she dresses. Heide is stunning, but I find some of her outfits shocking. If Kate dress that way, people would be very critical of her. Please do not help Jon get any more attention. When he grows up or gets over his MLC, he will ashamed of his behavior. Please let all the attention he is getting die!
Nina may think that someone died and made her queen, but she needs to seriously look in the mirror and realize that at 44 her long, stringy hair does nothing but draw attention to the neck waddle she has going on. She may not be a "Mom", but her style leaves a lot to be desired. As for Jon, he's prematurely going through mid-life crisis, and has made Ed Hardy clothing synonymous with that.
I have seen Ed Hardy merchandise in the fronts of more stores now. The problem is, his buyers were high school- early college age kid, and now that old looking (even for 34), overweight and prematurely balding Jon is wearing it, they won't touch it with a 10" pole. A friend that works retail said they just point at the merchandise and laugh about "some bald fat dude with a zillion kids" that wears it.
Oh please Nina, don't encourage this piece of garbage. We want him off the map....is that possible????
