While most stars fear a nip slip or lipstick-smeared teeth on the red carpet, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola endured another makeup malfunction -- a set of wonky false lashes!

The Jersey Shore star stepped out in an animal-print mini at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards in L.A. on Sunday night completely done up with flowing bombshell waves and a bronzed complexion. But her flawless beauty look stopped there -- the false lash strip on her right eye became unglued during the night -- whoops!

The makeup mishap comes as a surprise, since the 23-year-old is a pro at sporting feathery false eye lashes on an everyday basis.

But Giancola isn't the only ultra-tan housemate in the MTV hit show who has been enhancing her look with artificial add-ons.
Both Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Deena Cortese rock brightly colored contact lenses and blonde extensions while Jenni "JWoww" Farley is known to sport hair pieces in addition to her publicly-announced breast augmentation (which she had done before her Jersey Shore days.)
