For the second year in a row, Dakota Fanning has been named her high school's homecoming queen.

The 16-year-old actress -- a senior at Campbell Hall, a private school in North Hollywood -- said on the Today show last summer that she prefers attending classes when she's not acting.
"I think it was really important to have the high school experience," she said. "I think that I want [the college] experience as well. I just think everyone always looks back on that time in their life. Who was homecoming princess and [did] the cheerleading ... and all the things that go along with high school? And I wanted to have that. I'm really lucky that I found a school that allows me to do both."

She didn't win homecoming Queen 2 yrs in a row. She was homecoming PRINCESS last year, not Queen.
