When former presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani's daughter Caroline, 20, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly trying to shoplift cosmetics, she was wearing a frumpy T-shirt and little makeup.

Four hours later, when she exited the 19th precinct station in Manhattan, she stepped out in a chic hoody, trendy sunglasses and makeup. Her blondish-brown hair also was nicely brushed out.

The New York Post reports that she asked police if she could put on makeup before leaving.

"It will probably go down in history as the best jailhouse transformation ever," celeb stylist Khalilah Williams-Webb tells the Post. "She made sure her hair and makeup were on point."

Caroline, a student at Harvard University, was charged with petit larceny. She is due in court at a later date.
