Just in time for the holiday season, the Royal Mint unveiled the new commemorative "Royal Engagement Alderney" coin featuring Prince William and Kate Middleton.

"We are delighted to showcase this new coin. The special betrothal design has been approved by Prince William and Her Majesty The Queen," a spokesman for the Royal Mint tells UsMagazine.com.

About 50,000 of the £5 (or about $7.75) coins have been created and are available for pre-order at royalmint.com. Each comes in its own keepsake "presentation folder."

well i don't know about anyone esle but he looks better on the coin than in real life. but she does not she is really pretty and she looks so bad on that coin. but still i wish them the best of luck on their up coming marrige.
yea, not a great representation of either one. She is really a very pretty young lady, i really like her. He doesnt look like that either. His eyes are slightly slanted upwards in the coin.
