Two dresses are better than one? Sarah Jessica Parker pulled a very Carrie Bradshaw fashion move — complete with a tutu — at the 2016 Parsons Benefit in NYC on Monday, May 23.

The Sex and the City alum, 51, hit the red carpet in a color-blocked navy bodysuit by Wolford, which she wore under a see-through Valentino frock that included a voluminous white, tea-length skirt. Her plastic overlay featured jeweled accents and spaghetti straps.

Parker, who brought her husband of 19 years, Matthew Broderick, to the event, paired the double-outfit ensemble with an embellished clutch and sparkly, silver pumps.

The Divorce actress’ blue-tinged smoky eye matched her outfit, while her artfully messy ponytail gave the getup a fun flair.

Parker, much like her beloved Sex and the City character, is known for taking style risks, sometimes receiving flak from internet commenters. Most recently, fashion blogger Ivy Marshall thought the mother of three missed the mark with her Hamilton-inspired Monse suit at the 2016 Met Gala.

“The 2016 Met Gala Theme was ‘Manus X Machina; Fashion in the age of technology’ and this trio didnt get the memo,” Marshall wrote alongside a three-way split image of Parker, Madonna and Diane Von Furstenberg on Instagram on May 3. “@sarahjessicaparker @dvf @madonna #fashionforward #Metgala #fashionblogger #ivymarshall.”

But Parker didn’t waste any time clearing the air. “Got the memo. Always welcome thoughts but I’m a stickler for the theme and pay close attention to what it means. Every year with great consideration, research and conviction. The understanding of man and machine, how they intersect, when and why is what we considered,” Parker commented on the post. “Perhaps you weren’t aware of the technology used in the details and embellishments of the design. Or perhaps you simply didn’t like what I wore which is completely fine but you can’t accuse me of not paying close attention and adhering to the theme. With respect and warmest regards, sj.”
