While some might mark a dramatic weight loss with a fresh wardrobe, Jordin Sparks is celebrating her sexy slimmed-down figure with new ink!

The American Idol alum posted a pic of her new tattoo located on her right side to her website on Saturday.
"New tat on my rib cage...'Respira' I love it. :)" the 21-year-old songstress wrote. "Respira'= Breathe. It's for my time on ITH, the people I met there & a reminder to take a moment when things get crazy. <3." (Sparks starred as Nina Rosario in Broadway's In the Heights during fall 2010.)
But in addition to debuting her seventh tattoo in the self-taken pic, the "Battlefield" singer also showed off her slimmer waist, a result of her weight-loss regimen that she kicked off earlier this spring.

"Instead of just talking about being active, I made it a priority," she told Ryan Seacrest during a May interview. It was one of those things where I was turning 21 and New Year's was coming. It was like I'm not going to start my resolution on New Year's Day -- I'm going to try to start it early and just stick to it."

So basically it's the same tattoo that Miley got but in a different language. It's funny how proud people are of their tattoos when most of the time they just look stupid. "Breathe" - how original. How about "live, laugh, love" for some more cliche sayings.

Jordin don't let anyone get you down about your tattoo. It's your body your of age so to hell with the nay sayers. I'm glad to see to see that your are a young beautiful women and your the one that has lost all the weight so you do what u feel comfortable with. Somethings weird since I just saw her on the Today show and she sure didnt look that skinny...far from it.
