Redemption, at last!
Not two weeks after walking the MTV VMAs red carpet in that now-infamous aquamarine, alphabet-printed Mary Katrantzou romper, Taylor Swift is back — and she’s looking every bit the chic country-turned-pop crooner we know and love!
Attending Deutscher Radiopreis 2014 in Hamburg, Germany, on Thursday, Sept. 4, the “Shake It Off” singer, 24, swapped out her previous pantless one-piece in favor of a super-chic white mini overlain with a black caged peplum by Sass & Bide.
To accessorize the ensemble, the pop phenom added Neil Lane jewels and black Casadei heels. She finished the elegant flirty look with tousled waves, peach lips, and a touch of shimmer along her lids.
At the MTV VMAs on Sunday, Aug. 24, more than a few commenters on Twitter noted that Swift might have been attempting to make a bold pop reference. “So Iggys a chipotle burrito, katy and riff raff are JT and Britney back in the day, and TSwift is … in blades of glory,” read one tweet, referencing Jon Heder’s periwinkle ice skating unitard in the 2007 Will Ferrell comedy.
