Whoa! Vanessa Hudgens Really Chopped Off Her Hair!

Vanessa Hudgens walked the red carpet at Neutrogena's 2nd Annual Wave for Change By Helping Kids Make A Difference bash in L.A. Monday -- and debuted a choppy, super-short new haircut! (She modeled her shaggy pixie alongside Hayden Panettiere, who lopped off her own locks earlier this year.)

Hudgens first revealed her major hair makeover on Thursday on the Newark, NJ set of her new film Gimme Shelter. The normally glammed-up star, 22, was unrecognizable in baggy, sloppy clothes, no makeup plus eyebrow and lip piercings.
In that film, she plays a pregnant teen forced to live on the streets.

I love it so much more than her long wavy extensions which looked exactly like every other starlet in Hollywood (Miley, Lilo, etc) She looks much more unique, distinctive and HOT!
I am not fond of short hair on young women. I didn't like Hayden's hair when she chopped it off into a non-style, and I don't like Vanessa's either.
there's short and too short, Short is sexy, too short is not. Long hair on Vanessa Hudgens was more becoming for her body and features.

Well, if it's for a role, that's fine. Many actors revamp their hair and bodies to fit the requirement for the person they are protraying in a movie.

Her hair was extensions anyway and I'm sure they'll be back as soon as the role requiring short hair is complete... Look closely, 75% of these 'celebrities' have extensions.
