  What in the Hell is Courtney talking about? All Francis has to do is make a few phone calls to Oh perhaps Betsy whatever her name is that fashion designer. She could model for her. Francis could have her own reality tv show! She can do anything she wants! That's the beauty if being a child of a celebrity! I wish her well. It's hell to have a crazy mother! I know!

  Courtney Love once again shows her true self. There has to be a reason that this seventeen year old girl wanted this move. Love states that her daughter has lost her position which I am not quite sure what that means. She also claims her daughter lies constantly. It is amazing to me that Love has the audacity to make these statements considering her drug addicted and total irresponsible behaviour. She has embarrased her daughter on many occasions and made a complete fool of herself including on televised programs. One of the egregious comments was that her grandmother killed her father. If this young lady does not eventually need extended therapy it will be a absolute miracle. I have nothing but best wishes to Frances and hopefully she will grow up to be a responsible and giving adult.

  Re: A Mom - Respect is the one thing in life that you EARN, it is not given freely. If she wanted her daughter to respect her she should of spent more time raising her instead of blowing all her money on partying and drugs. Anytime Courtney wasn't able to take care of her kid she pawned her off to the grandmother. Kids aren't stupid, they know who really is there for them and who isn't. And she has the nerve to gripe about her daughter wants to buy her grandmother a little house? Seems her daughter has a lot more love and caring in her heart than her mother. Kurt Cobain's albums continued to make millions of $$ after his death and his mother can't even buy her own house AND is raising her grandchild as well? And the fact that a judge actually gave this girl a restraining order to keep her mother away from her speaks volumes.

  How does one rationalize slamming their child in one sentence, claiming their love for the child in the next, then back to 'I'll alway love you, unconditionally' WTF? I agree, Kurt Cobain and Courtney were not...how do I put it...good role models. I wonder if Kurt would have cleaned up at some point for their daughter. Courtney, she will always be a dirty sewer junky. Nothing can stop her from being that. And she doesn't care to acheive more then that.

  Courtney Love is and has always been (in my opinion) a lost cause. I forget how long I've been hearing about her and her issues, and I think she's a disgusting, pathetic excuse of a mom. She's been letting her issues and addictions effect her and her family for about 15 years too long. These people had no business having kids if you ask me, and I feel embarrassed and sad for Francis. What a SHAME you are Courtney! Francis is a product of YOU, you idiot! How dare you publicly bash your daughter about HER issues that YOU helped create! If I were your daughter, you would have been my ex-mom a long f***ing time ago.

  This is just an overall sad situation. Courtney and Kurt were a couple with many problems, both addiction wise and psychologically before they had children and those problems only got worse after the tragic death of Kurt sadly. I am pretty sure life with Courtney is not conventional to say the least and what she wrote about her child isn't anything a mature woman, let alone mother, writes about her child. It is a private matter, not something to blog about and especially not in the manner she did. I really hope this young girl and her mom can patch things up and have some sort of civil relationship, but I think staying with her Grandmother is best. It sounds like her Grandmother has been the most stable person in her life.

  I feel sorry for both of them. CL sounds like a mess, and maybe FB just wants a normal life (as normal as it can be for someone in her position). The poor girl lost her dad and her mom is probably a spitfire. I picture her to be a fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants kind of person with major mood swings. Maybe I'm wrong. Not judging. Just feel bad for them both. I wish them well.

  It is very hard being a teenager when you have a "normal" mom. I cannot begin to fathom what having a mom with a questionable past, a questionable present, and a questionable future is like. Maybe Frances would be happier living with her grandmother and maybe Courtney would have a chance to get her life together without the "distraction" of a teenager who deserves the full attention of her only parent! Courtney is such a bridge-burner!
