  Addiction is a disease.. and depression and addiction can cause people to do things they would not normally do in the right state of mind.. never judge someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. It is a sad situation. I hope he is in a better place.

  The drugs may have not been illegal(except the coke) but he was illegally abusing them. He was an addict. Which is sad that he didnt get help. People shouldnt judge, who knows what was going on in his life.

  To those who keep posting "how could it be an accident when he took all those pills".....it's not that he took all of those in one night, that is what was in his system....some were from days ago....he was on the valium/xanax type drugs(Klonopin, Xanax and Ativan) from the plane accident, (it's anti-anxiety and anti-depressant)as well as some pain meds (vicodin and possibly Oxy) which he said himself in interviews...the benadryl is an over the counter cold medicine (antihistamine for allergies) which only leaves the illegal drug of cocaine and the cut that's in it - even if one pain med was not prescribed, the rest were so yes, they were in his system!! You all assume he just took a handful of pills that were illegal and that is wrong! He may not have realized mixing his scripts with cocaine would do that - heck, he may not have even thought about his medications, he just partied.....it's sad either way but to say he took all of that at once is wrong and irresponsible! Learn your facts before bad mouthing!

  I can't believe that this man was gonna be the host of an intervention show!! Helping people get clean when all the while he was tweekin'! What a hypocrite! And as far as the death ruled as an accident, WTF? Are you kidding me? How can someone accidentally ingest all those meds without planning on dying young~ Just like Heath Ledger, Anna Nicole and many countless others. Sad thing is that there will be many more to come. Guess tinseltown has nothing better to do than do the dope and wipe their asses with rest of the money.

  He was nothing more than a junkie...he had 8 to 9 drugs in his system...and a crack pipe...how did he get all of this..either he was buying and using illegally or there is a doctor and/or doctors that should have been aware of what he was taking and subscribing it stupidly or illegally..my daughter works in the medical field and when they call in a script it comes up when they got one from whom they got one and how often..how did he function as a human being on all of this...how do you die with 6 still in your stomach and one in your throat...what he choked on the last one...if he wasn't in the news or rag mags he would be as unimportant as some john doe in an alley somewhere....

  How could this be ruled accidental?? Too many drugs in his system and especially for someone who had abused drugs in the past. He knew about drugs and dangerous amounts. At least I would think so. Coroner's ruling = weird.

  It was obviously a suicide. No one accidentally takes all of those medications. He was a druggie who was going broke. Like most other celebs. Lets just state the facts people stop being so P.C.

I understand that suicide is difficult for a surviving family to accept, but I don't think that's a good enough reason for the medical examiner to rewrite history and call it an accident. Remind me not to have a fatal heart attack on that ME's watch - who knows what crazy scenario he'll come up with. RIP Adam.

  You take 9 pills with one in your mouth and you take a drug that cuts cocaine and oxycodin sounds like Anna Nicole Smith so this should get Howard K Stern off.. Why accidental when the room was baracated and no one could get in and he told the door man he did not want to see anyone.. than shoves all these pills in his mouth and they pronounce it accidental... Guess Michael Jackson is too ACCIDENTAL...WITH ALL THE OTHER DRUGS IN HIS SYSTEM...

  Poor guy.... RIP Adam, RIP HEATH LEDGER! They are in a better place with God now. :( Just so sad that these young people are losing their lives to these drugs.
