  For those who think this isn't news and to leave Tiger alone: News is extraordinary things that happens to ordinary people, and ordinary things that happen to extraordinary people. In this case we have an extraordinary athlete who's done some things that many would consider un-newsworthy. However, as each day passes the news is becoming more and more troublesome. I feel for his wife most of all. It will take her years & years - well after he's over it - to get back to a happy life, poor girl.

  I think it's the WORST WEEK of Elin's life, she must be terribly hurt and to have to deal with it publicly is even more difficult. I think it's extremely self-centered of Tiger to think it's the worst week of his life, trust me, I've been there Elin will remember this for the rest of her life. If she leaves Tiger and some other man ends up being the most important father figure in his chilfren'd lives THAT will be the worst week of his life, when Elin leaves him and that realization hits him. But considering his friends, perhaps it won't mean much. BTW just because she's beautiful and was a nanny and a model doesn't mean she isn't clever, she has also behaved with integrity, we can't say the same for Tiger. remember how young she was when she married Tiger, she still ha slots of time to establish herself in her own way and make a mark on the world. I hope she leaves him, she can do better...

  i really don't see the big deal, so he cheated and then what? its their life and their marriage and something that happens all the time. The only thing is that he wasn't smart enough to protect himself from the so-called money hungry mistresses. He should never have sent texts or even if he sent, make them as business like as possible. he is a man under a lot of pressure with a lot of money to spare. His wife should have known this would happen. men will always cheat, its now the level with which they respect you and not shove it in your face that makes you decide if you want to stay or leave. Was he still treating her right, loving her, taking care of her, supporting her and the kids? these are the important things she should look at before decideing if she wants to leave. if he was emotionally abusing her because of the other cheap attention seeking girls, then she has every right to pack up and go..if not then stay and work it out...if she still loves him. Unfortunately we live in a world where sex is cheap and so available and for a man like Tiger, he doesn't have to work too hard for it. She should have known that by now...

  Tiger Woods is a professional golf player and graduate of Stanford University. Elin is a baby sitter. What does a professional golfer have in common with a baby sitter? Perhaps the match maker should have thought of that before he hooked them up; and take the blame for this mishap. Woods stated he was not happy at home, perhaps there is more here than most of us want to know. This does not excuse Woods cheating; but many professional men cheat because the opportunity is there all the time. The low lifes that slept with Woods should be shot with shette and killed for stinking because it takes two to have an affair. I saw a news article today with a photo of Woods after the incident and he had a missing tooth where Elin hit him with the club. The news states that Woods kept silent to prevent Elin from being jailed for domestic violence. Anyone reading the printed media, or are we all just posting our attitudes on these boards? I wonder does adultery and/or domestic violence have any affect on the pre-nup? Does Elin have a green card or work visa? "there is nothing common in common sense"

  I think you guys are forgetting that there was a major pre-nup. If she were to leave, being married only 5 years, she is only going to get $ for the kids in a divorce unless the pre-nup has more added it. It usually goes by number of years of marriage.

  I am not defending Tiger's behavior it must be very painful to Elin to have to deal with all this. I know how I felt when I was in her shoes. But what most can't realize is that this in NO ONE'S business. The legalities of this story have been resolved according to the police. Now the media needs to back off and let this family take care of it's crisis. If you, the media will let it be they may be able to move beyond it working it out with love and forgiveness. There are children involved, the more that is printed the more these children will have to suffer both now and when they get older. Please US and all other forms of media that keeps this story alive, LEAVE IT ALONE. Just because Tiger messed up does not give you the right to make innocent children's life a hell too!!!!

  Why hasn't anyone addressed the "women" that participated knowingly and willingly with a KNOWN married man? Why aren't they racked over the coals like Tiger is being?   The weddings-so romantic, the children we bring in to this world, the behavior we expect of them- no drugs, don't lie or cheat in school, do unto others, the behavior we want from our children...and then we lie, cheat and steal from our wives and families. The immaturity and narcisism is so sad. Cheating is a symptom of low self esteen, self loathing and a weak character. Get mental help before you get married and before you have children. If you worked on your morals and value and character as much as you worked on your game your putter might not be the biggest thing in your life. Grow up you selfish selfish child.

  Im totally disapointed, The funny thing is these girls sold him out ! For a man who's always careful in the media, what he says. His fortunate his not married to any one of those girls, his married to a woman who has stayed out of the media and let him do his own thing. Her modeling career stopped after him and she devoted herself to be a loving wife and awesome mother not to mention she protects her children from the media. Why ??? for what ?? these women want to famous and she just wants to be his wife.Just remember Tiger if you couldnt hit a little white ball with a stick, none of these girls what of touched you ! i wouldnt take him back, i apologise to his wife and hope her best wishes. I'm married, i love my husband and would never cheat i expect him to feel the same way. My opinion if your husband or wife commits the three A's( adultrey, alcholic or abuse ) why should we sacrifice the rest of our life to another who commits the three A's. Dump him ! you can land an awesome guy. make him lay in the bed he makes !

  I always said that Tiger is less of what everybody thinks he is. An old saying you are judged by your friends and if your best friends are charles barkley and Michael Jordan over a period of time you are the same as they are. About two months ago Barkley got picked up in Las Vegas for drinking and didn't serve any time all he did was brag to the police about the best b.j. he ever had.judge for yourself they are all scumbags. I wonder if Tiger will lose some of his sponsors probablt won't but if his name is Zoeller he would.
