#Batfleck! DC Entertainment released a new image of Ben Affleck in his Batman garb on Wednesday, July 23, in San Diego.
The image, which shows a profile view of Affleck, 41, wearing the Batsuit in the upcoming film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, is part of a 75th anniversary montage of Batman images created for Comic-Con.
"Yes, as fans have started pointing out, within the dozens of photos and illustrations on the wall [at DC's booth at Comic-Con] is a brand new image of Batman from the upcoming film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," the company wrote on its blog DCComics.com. "The filmmakers wanted to include this new cinematic version of the Dark Knight in the anniversary mosaic so it could be discovered by fans."
Also unveiled at San Diego's Comic-Con was Affleck's full Batsuit and cape. Dan Didio, co-publisher at DC Comics, tweeted an image of the get-up with the caption: "Batfleck costume is in the house!"
Jennifer Garner's hubby has been busy filming for the upcoming flick and packing on pounds of muscle. A source tells Us the Argo actor has been strength training with Matt Damon's cousin Jamie Damon and has set up a gym in his garage where he spends a majority of his time pumping iron.
Affleck admitted he hesitated when it came to taking on the iconic role during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in September. "They called me up and said 'Do you want to do this?' And I thought, 'I'm not 25 man, are you sure about this?' They said, 'Come down, we wanna show you what we’re doing.' It was incredible."
