Betty White writes!
The hot-again actress, 88, will write two books for publisher G.P. Putnam's Sons, the Associated Press reports.
Out in Spring 2011, Listen Up! will be a life lessons tome, in which White dispenses her wisdom and wit on TV, getting older, sex, Hollywood and her instantly classic Saturday Night Live stint this past May.

The next book, slated for a 2012 release, tackles the other passion in the star's life: animals. The Zoo and I: Betty and Her Friends, shares stories and photographs documenting the lives of her "animal friends" at the Los Angeles Zoo. (A lifelong advocate for animal health and welfare, White is a board member at L.A.'s zoo.)

In the meantime, White's first-ever pinup calendar hits stores this September. In addition, the former Golden Girl recently partnered with Jerry Leigh Apparel to produce a line of T-shirts and hoodies using her likeness.

The six-time Emmy winner is also busier than ever on the small screen. Her hit TV Land show Hot in Cleveland has already been picked up for a second season, and she's slated to appear as a recurring character on NBC's Community this fall.
