Controversy in the Big Brother house. Some houseguests, including Aaryn, GinaMarie, Spencer, and Jeremy, have come under fire for making offensive and racist comments on the show’s 24/7 internet live-feed cameras.

According to TMZ, GinaMarie, a 32-year-old pageant coordinator, referred to welfare as “N—— insurance”; Aaryn, a 22-year-old college student, called houseguest Andy, who is gay, a “queer” and told an Asian-American houseguest to “shut up” and “go make some rice.” In another incident, Aaryn, a Texas native, reportedly said to a black contestant: “Be careful what you say in the dark, you might not be able to see that bitch.” Spencer, a 31-year-old railroad conductor, called Andy “Kermit the F–” and also praised Adolf Hitler as a gifted speaker.

Another houseguest, Jeremy, a 23-year-old boat shop associate, is also facing criticism. Live feed viewers watched him refer to all his female housemates as as “bitches.” He bragged about hooking up with another houseguest, Kaitlin, making an explicit, disturbing comment about her vagina.

With many internet commentors offended by the remarks — calling on CBS to send home the houseguests in question, the network has issued a statement. “Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 — and seeing every moment of their lives,” CBS tells Us Weekly. “At times, the Houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone.”

The network added, “We certainly find the statements made by several of the Houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a Houseguest appearing on Big Brother, either on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program.”

At least one cast member is already feeling the heat. TMZ reports that Aaryn has been dropped by her modeling agency, Zephyr Talent, amid the controversy. “We certainly find the statements made by Aaryn on the live Internet feed to be offensive,” the agency said in a statement. “Upon much consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with Zephyr Talent.”

Big Brother season 15 airs three times a week on CBS and premiered on June 26.
