Carpool Karaoke goes country! Carrie Underwood was the latest guest to join James Cordon for his now-famous Carpool Karaoke segment on Wednesday, Dec 2 on The Late Late Show — and it was as awesome as you would imagine!
The blonde bombshell, decked out in La Soula and Nashelle jewelry, gave the host a fast-track course on country music, singing amazing harmonies with the 37-year-old Brit as they powered through some of her biggest hits, before taking him shopping for some cowboy boots!
The first point of conversation between Underwood, 32, and Corden was her husband, Mike Fisher, and just how insanely physical hockey games are in the U.S.
"Did you see his last fight?" Underwood asked her musical car companion. "He knocked a guy's tooth out," she said. "It was pretty hot!"
Singing their way through a couple more songs, Underwood and Corden then turned into a parking lot so the late-night host could try on some country outfits.
When he found a pair of boots he liked, he was stunned to discover they cost a whopping $800.
"That's nothing, come on," Underwood encouraged.
"We're not all multi-platinum recording artists, we haven't all had four Billboard number ones," retorted Corden, who eventually left the shop with a Stetson instead.
The tuneful duo then jumped back in the car for a who-can-hold-a-note-the-longest competition, and a rousing rendition of Wham!'s "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go!"
