Backstage shenanigans! Cheryl Burke isn’t afraid to dish now that she’s stepped away from the ballroom. The former Dancing With the Stars pro revealed during the Allegedly with Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss podcast that she and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have hooked up in the past.
“I think we all dated each other at one point. All of us dancers, we’ve known each other — back to Maks, we’ve known each other since I was 12 and he was like maybe 15. I think he is three years older than me, so you know, things happen,” Burke, 31, said during the interview.
She added: “He was a good kisser. Maks is a good kisser.” (Chmerkovskiy, 36, previously was engaged to Karina Smirnoff and is now engaged to DWTS pro Peta Murgatroyd.)
The model and TV personality also got close to Mark Ballas. “I think we tried to have fun,” Burke recalled. “You know, stuff happens. People interrupt or, you know, something happens.”
Burke never actually dated the hunky stars, though. She also said that she never had a fling with Derek Hough. As for now, she’s currently on the market.
“I’m dating, but I’m not, like, in it to win it — no one’s living with me, put it that way,” Burke, who’s romanced NHL player Joffrey Lupul and Quantico actor Josh Hopkins, told Weiss and Von. “I’m not actively looking. I’m just really focusing on myself and trying to focus on my career right now … I’m not one of those girls that’s like, ‘I have to be married by the time I’m 35 and I have to have six babies when I’m 38.’ No, I’m just fine, it’s all good.”
