Everwood? Jurassic World!? It turns out that not a lot of New Yorkers have seen Chris Pratt’s work. The Guardians of the Galaxy actor found out the hard way that some people have no clue who he is during a hilarious new sketch with Billy Eichner.
The former Parks and Recreation costars took to the bustling NYC streets recently for a new episode of Billy on the Street. Dragging Pratt along, Eichner gave out dollar bills to whoever recognized the hunky blockbuster movie star.
The result: One — yes, just one — lady out there is $1 richer!
Eichner, 37, was taken aback by how many “no idea” responses he received, while Pratt just stood next to him awkwardly.
“You think he’s still slumming on NBC?!” Eichner yelled at one stranger. Some other participants even mistook Pratt, 36, for Chris Evans and Liam Hemsworth.
“A dream to have my pal @prattprattpratt on my show – and all the NYers who never give a sh-t about any of it!” Eichner tweeted on Monday, Oct. 12. “YOU’RE THE GREATEST!!! I’M SORRY EVERWOOD DIDN’T RESONATE IN NYC!!!”
Pratt tweeted back: “Gotta love New York. And my good buddy Billy!”
