Ladies, ladies, ladies. Conan O’Brien went where few men have gone before when he crashed his female staffers’ girls’ night out and joined them in a midnight screening of Magic Mike XXL. But though the lanky talk show host claimed that he didn’t know much about the film, he still committed 100 percent to the evening in a hilarious video released online this week.
“For days now, all the women on my staff have been freaking out because of this movie that’s coming out called Magic Mike XXL,” he said by way of explanation. “I don’t know much about the movie but judging by the title, it’s about a very heavy magician.”
In the video, O’Brien, 52, rents a limo for the night, but first pregames with all the gals at his assistant’s apartment, where talk soon turns to penis size and pelvic thrusting.
“Did you know I’m friends with Cha-tay-tay?” he asks smugly at one point, referring to Magic Mike star Channing Tatum, as he swirls a colorful fruity cocktail in one hand. The women look less than impressed.
“He looks like a lumberjack who’s off his meds,” he quips about another one of the hunky actors.
But the night really gets going when the comedian decides to try out a few stripper moves. As his female staffers look on and cringe, O’Brien slowly peels off his brown hoodie to reveal a grey T-shirt, then rips off his track pants — to reveal a pair of snug jeans underneath.
When he finally does doff his shirt entirely, his bare chest is censored.
Pelvic thrusting proves difficult too. The tall comedian yells “it hurts, it hurts!” as he attempts the sultry moves.
The group then move on to dinner at a restaurant appropriately called Big Wangs, where he orders “booty juice” from a waitress and invites her along for the screening.
By the time O’Brien and his squad of staffers make it to the movie theater, the talk show host is braced for one heck of an experience.
“I am lubricated, I am ovulating, and I am more woman than I have ever been before, and I am ready,” he says to the cameras. “I am ready to have a baby. With a movie.”
